Nicolai "device" Reedtz has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the ECS Season 6 Finals by HLTV.org and betway. The Danish AWPer scoops the award for his consistency throughout the tournament, having been Astralis' best-rated player (1.19) and the most impactful member in round wins. The 23-year-old was already leading the MVP race leading up to the final, and he played well enough in the series to remain at the top of the pile, beating off competition from teammates Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Astralis' top-rated players in the title decider. ![]() Marcelo "coldzera" David was also a strong contender for the award before the final match, while Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo entered the fray with strong individual performances on both maps. device ranked first for KDD (+54) and total kills (252), and was in the top five in seven other leaderboards, most notably rating, kills per round (0,79), percentage of rounds with at least one kill (52.7%) and AWP kills per round (0.28). This is the 11th MVP award of his career, the sixth since the start of the year after he also claimed the honour at the ECS Season 5 Finals, ELEAGUE Premier, FACEIT Major, BLAST Pro Series Istanbul and IEM Chicago. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
